Restaurant ?Zum Stöger? – The home of Viennese hospitality

Stoeger 4309

For more than 70 years we have been delighting the palate with Viennese and Austrian delicacies, as well as seasonal specialties from game to asparagus, mushrooms to herring feasts and ganserl.

For three generations, kitchen classics have been reinterpreted in the cozy restaurant on Ramperstorfferstraße and prepared fresh from the market every day. An extensive range of wines, hot meals throughout the day, a varied lunch menu Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. ? 2:30 p.m. and a sidewalk café ensure coziness.

The restaurant has been family-owned since 1952. Previously known as the wine house ?zur Cosiness? established it the grandfather Eduard Stöger and then his son, Kurt Stöger under his family name as a traditional Viennese inn. Since 2008, the daughter Nina Stöger has taken over this scepter with a lot of devotion and passion from her grandfather and father.

The Stöger menu reads like a declaration of love for Austria. Many recipes come from the k.&k. Monarchy, a time in which many cultural influences had a lasting influence on Austrian cuisine. Varied lunch menus are also prepared with a lot of love and skill. The welcoming atmosphere and the warmth of the staff make every visit an experience.

Neither the large regular audience, the numerous guests from all over the world, nor the Falstaff restaurant guide can be wrong, for connoisseurs of really good cuisine, the ?Zum Stöger? a must.
